Fitness Counseling on Exercise and Nutrition

Dr. Thomas F. Dow has been around in competitive amateur bodybuilding for many years. He has developed health and fitness programs for over the past 20 years. The focus is on nutrition and exercise. However, in order for a person to become “fit”, it takes a long-term commitment to the fitness and weight loss programs. We believe that our form of fitness counseling is a form of holistic healing. The doctors agree that it takes BOTH exercise and dietary modification to become fit. Simply stated: They believe that DIETS DON’T WORK! A weight loss program alone is not enough for people who want change. Lifestyle changes produce results that will last for the rest of your life.

Fitness through exercise

Our fitness through exercise programs are for real people living real lives. We realize that people have to work, take care of families and socialize. Then they try to get fitness and exercise on the list of priorities. We will provide you with information and guidance. It will focus on encouraging you to exercise as and when you can. Fitness through Nutrition

We help patients understand the relationship between diet and exercise. This is key in maintaining a healthy body. Our discussions will include information on many factors. They will include why we eat, major nutrients, digestive systems and disorders. Doctors will also highlight nutrient guidelines, food sources and diets. We will discuss reading food labels, portion distortion, and a healthy weight that is good for you. Further, the focus of our recommendations will be on maintaining fitness through good nutrition. We do this with the development of a sound nutritional program for you. Our weight loss programs are always specific to you.
