Biography – Dr. Thomas F. Dow

Dr. Thomas F. Dow is a second generation chiropractor, having knowledge and background in chiropractic for all of his life he decided at young age this is what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. He graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 2009, where he obtained his Doctorate of Chiropractic. In 2010 He became certified in Manipulation Under Anesthesia (MUA). Practicing along with other chiropractors and osteopaths he has gained privileges in over 6 outpatient surgical centers on Long Island and the Boroughs. He furthered his education and became certified in MRI Spine Interpretation in 2013. In 2016 Dr. Dow attended Parker Chiropractic College in Texas for advanced training, he now holds a National Certificate in Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression. He is an active member of Disc Centers of America – Long Island and is a staple in the the Long Island branch.

Since the beginning of 2010, with a Doctorate of Chiropractic, Dr. Thomas F. Dow continued to gain experience with several years of practice and exposure to traumatic spine, joint injuries, and soft tissue injuries. Dr. Dow’s goal is to provide his patients with quality chiropractic care with an emphasis on spinal & health rehabilitation and preventive measures. He strives to educate his patients on healthier lifestyles coupled with nutrition and fitness counseling. He has helped hundreds of patients change their bodies, lifestyles and decision-making skills in order to function properly and live a longer and healthier life.

Does Dr. Thomas F. Dow accept my insurance?

Our chiropractic and physical therapy office accepts no-fault and workers compensation insurances, we also accept medicare insurance. Our office is not in-network with the majority of the private insurnace companies due to the trend of high deductables and large co-payments. The good news is that our fees are very affordable and usually comparable or sometimes cheaper than using private insurance.
